History Of Diabetes 2

I have gestational diabetes and am 27 weeks. Was detected with GD in 26th week.?

I have no family history of diabetes, had my normal first child and pregnanacy, no blood pressure problems so far, am 29 yrs of age. I dont feel any physical, but am totally disturbed emotionally. I have been told to take my readings 4 times a day. I have been monitoring myself since last 5 days. My fasting readings range rom 85 to 98. My after breakfast 2 hour reading range from 80 to 97. After lunch 2 hour reading from 102 to 129 and after dinner 2 hour reading from 81 to 124. I am trying to follow the diet prescribed as closely as possible. But I am in so much stress thinking what would be my reading after the next meal. I dont even feel like eating anything, just keep eating the same stuff over and over if my reading were good with that particular food trying to make sure my next reading come out good. I am so scared that if I exceed above 90 for fasting or 120 after 2 hours of meal my OBGYN will ask me to take Insulin. Please help. Do I really need to worry?

Aww you sound like I did ( and still do a bit)
It stressed me out too, because no matter how hard I tried, my sugar levels continued to be WAY to high.
My diabetic nurse told me if it wasn't coming down, and I wasn't doing anything wrong, it is my body's fault, not what I eat.
I have to inject insulin now 4 times a day throughout the rest of my pregnancy...and actually, its fine, less stressful and doesn't hurt one bit.
You will be fine.
Also, stressing makes your readings higher.
If they are high, do 10 Min's gentle exercises and take it again...it should come down a bit
